Traditionally, the Global Day of Russian Education was broadcasted simultaneously on three platforms: globalred.ru, YouTube and Facebook, which made it possible to ensure coverage and guarantee a high quality broadcast. The speakers had the opportunity to present their university to the target audience in 20 minutes of airtime. First 15 minutes were planned for a presentation about the university with a list of competitive advantages, the most popular educational programs, the specifics of the cities, and current features of student life. The last 5 minutes of airtime were devoted to working with the event moderator and answering questions from the chat, which the broadcast director displayed on the screen.
Presentations of universities were made in a unified style while maintaining an integral structure and sequence of presentation. It allowed for better perception of information by potential applicants and representatives of student recruitment companies. In order to maximize the involvement of viewers on the air, maintain their concentration, and preserve the convenience of information perception, all elements of the broadcasting were adapted for mobile devices. For the first time, a crawling news line was added to display actual news, contact details, and relevant information, as well as to establish a comfortable broadcast tempo. Key dates, a list of countries with open borders for entry into the Russian Federation, a link to the website of the Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency for submitting applications for quota places, and much more were regularly shown on the screen. The main regions of the world where they watched the broadcasting were:
  • Asia
  • Latin America
  • North Africa and Middle East
  • Indian subcontinent
  • Central Africa
At the end of the event, the Education Export Center and its regional partners provided a full range of effective measures aimed at submitting applications for study at Russian universities in accordance with their choice.
