On November 19, Dmitry Nersesyan, Director of the Education Export Center, made a short working trip to Izhevsk, the capital of the Republic of Udmurtia.
The purpose of the visit was to participate in the All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Regional universities as drivers of spatial development of Russia".
During the conference, Nersesyan shared his expert opinion on the recruitment of foreign students as a factor in attracting private investment in the economy of the regions.
What is more, Nersesyan met with the Rector of UdSU, Professor Galina Merzlyakova, and the head of the International Department of UdSU and the Easy Russian with UdSU project, Maria Beznosova, as well as with the rector of Urgench State University, Prof. Bahrom Abdullayev (Uzbekistan).
The colleagues discussed the academic and research potential of Udmurt State University and plans for cooperation in 2022.
